1. Purpose of the information

The SCIS Innovation Center website presents information about the Center's activity, innovation areas, startup technology solutions, events, the innovation competition and professional insights. The information is intended for exploration and familiarisation and is not meant to be the sole basis for a business, investment, engineering or operational decision.

2. Sources

Some content is written by the Center's team. Other content is based on material provided by organizations, startups, partners or event operators, on those parties' public websites, or on content originating in external systems.

Some startup profiles are drafted using an AI tool that analyses a company's public website content, after which the Center's team reviews them. Such content is not an independent verification of the company's data.

3. Currency and accuracy

The Center makes reasonable efforts to present accurate and current information but does not warrant that it is complete, accurate, up to date or free from error at all times. Business information, product data, event status, dates and prices may change without notice.

4. Not professional advice

Nothing on the site is legal, financial, engineering, safety, regulatory or other professional advice, and nothing constitutes a recommendation, undertaking or opinion of the Center or anyone on its behalf. Do not rely on the information as a substitute for professional review, due diligence, verification against official sources or advice from a qualified party.

5. AI-generated or AI-assisted content

Some content is created or processed using AI tools, including the drafting of solution descriptions and topic tagging. Such systems may produce incomplete or incorrect content and may misinterpret information. Their output is neither a complete source nor verified by the party described, and must not be relied on as official or binding information. See the AI Use Policy for detail.

6. Third-party data providers

Information drawn from external systems – including the innovation competition platform, partner websites and event platforms – depends on the availability and accuracy of those systems. Responsibility for such content and its currency rests with their operators, and the Center is not responsible for changes, omissions or interruptions there.

7. User reliance

Use of the information is at the user's own risk and discretion. To the extent permitted by law, the Center is not liable for damage resulting from reliance on information presented on the site, including business loss, financial loss or consequential damage.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for damage caused wilfully or through gross negligence, and liability under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981, where applicable.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in this document or on the site creates a representation, undertaking or liability of the Center towards a user, unless expressly stated in a signed agreement between the parties.

9. Statutory rights preserved

A user's rights under any law – including the Consumer Protection Law, the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, and the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law, 1998 – are preserved and are not affected by this document. A mandatory statutory provision prevails over any conflicting provision here.
