1. Where AI is used

The SCIS Innovation Center uses AI tools in a limited way, for the following purposes only:

  • Analysing the public content of startup websites to draft a profile (solution description, technology areas and business processes) for the Center's solutions directory.
  • Processing and drafting professional content in the Center's internal systems, subject to human review.

Use is limited to Center staff within the administration system and is not available to site visitors.

2. What information is processed

Processing relates to the public content of company websites (such as product or "about" pages) that anyone can read online.

We do not send visitors' personal information, form content, credentials, member data or financial information to an AI provider. If use is later extended to include personal information, the Privacy Policy will be updated and a suitable notice shown before that use begins.

3. Limitations of the system

  • Output may be partial, inaccurate or out of date, and may reflect activity the company no longer carries out.
  • The system may misread marketing language, technical metaphor or partial information.
  • There is no independent verification of a company's data, achievements or technology maturity.
  • The system does not evaluate or rank individuals and does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effect on users.

4. Inaccuracy and the user's duty to verify

AI-generated or AI-assisted content must not be relied on as official, binding or complete information. Before acting on it, verify it against official sources, with the party described, or through appropriate professional review.

5. Permitted use

AI tools connected with the site may not be used to create misleading content, impersonate another party, infringe privacy or circumvent security measures. Content that is not yours, or sensitive content not needed for the service, must not be submitted to the Center's systems.

6. Rights in outputs

Outputs produced in the course of the Center's activity belong to the Center, subject to third-party rights in the source material. Content a user submits remains theirs, subject to the limited licence to provide the service set out in the Terms of Use.

7. Service improvement and model training

We do not use visitors' personal information or site enquiries to train AI models, and we do not provide such information for training. Information submitted to handle an enquiry is used only for the purpose for which it was provided.

8. Contact

Questions about AI use on the site may be sent to info@scis.co.il.
